Fireworks Shmireworks

I don't know if this is old news, but I read that in some Asian countries they release sky lanterns for good luck (as you watch your problems and worries float away). How cute would it be, then, to release these at your wedding or some other celebration? Guests could write happy messages and send them off into the sky.
